Blizzard

Blizzard is an 11+yr old Havanese mix who was found in a Long Island home with his litter mate brother, Scamp. His owner had to move out of the home unable to take her dogs, and made arrangements for them to be picked up and re homed. Unfortunately, they were not picked up for over 3 weeks, unbeknownst to her. Blizzard had been left with very little food and was underweight by the time he was found. Both he and his brother Scamp were aloof and unfriendly at first, upon entering their foster home. The foster family has been working with both boys  and they are coming along. We are hopeful that Blizzard, along with his brother, will come out of his shell more and and meanwhile enjoy being in a safe and sound home!  Blizzard will remain with his brother for their lifetimes.
