Hope is our 13yr old Hound mix resident who we rescued from being destroyed by a local animal rescue group. Hope can be slow to trust new people, especially if they are required to directly handle her before she is ready to accept them.
However, Hope is super loving and will gaze with her soulful eyes deep into the hearts of those who take the time and patience in creating a relationship with her. Her new job is to socialize other dogs in the office and this has actually relaxed her more when it comes to meeting new people.
Hope has a special love for George, one of the volunteers, who was her one and only "love at first sight" attachment. Walks, time with George, and regular obedience exercises keep Hope "Safe and Sound."
