Buddy Baker is 14yrs young this spring and he is doing very well
regardless of an intestinal growth and heart disease. He loves to sleep
on any bed he can find, even when it's someone elses!:)
His current job is to ride along when we need to do sanctuary shopping and errands and he loves to stand and pose in the car for neighboring
drivers to wave hello at him. His new favorite habit is to make sure he is spoon fed - much easier than licking!:)
Buddy Baker is our 14 year old Olde English Bulldog resident. Buddy was an owner surrender and had suffered from several bouts of heat stroke which damaged his immune system resulting in very costly veterinary needs of care.
Buddy is EXTREMELY loving, fun, social and happy with people and dogs and cats. He has visited schools as a therapy dog and has performed in the instruction of dog safety in community events and pet expos. Buddy is a wonderful role now. Job always well done Buddy!
Cool weather, lots of pillows to sleep with, eating all day long, and sleeping with his "Sweetie" every night keep Buddy Baker "Safe and Sound."
