Petey is a 13+yr old Min Pin mix who was saved from a local municipal shelter. Petey had been the victim of a horrible cruelty act whereby he was thrown from a traveling car and broke his legs and jaw. He received extensive medical treatments and surgeries and had a long recovery.  Petey has improved over time with his bought of territorial behavior and has improved as well with his fear aggression of strangers. He has lived in a permanent foster home for several years where he has received not only human nurturing but also therapy from other household dogs. Petey was not fond of dogs when he was first placed and has learned and adapted over time to his new family of humans and dogs and cats!  Petey has high anxiety and is given everything he needs to make life as wonderful as he is! We are very thankful to his foster family for their unending commitment and love to this special boy!
