Scamp
Scamp is an 11+yr old Havanese mix who was found in a Long Island home with his litter mate brother, Blizzard . His owner had to move out of the home unable to take her dogs, and made arrangements for them to be picked up and re homed. Unfortunately, they were not picked up for over 3 weeks, unbeknownst to her. Scamp had been left with very little food and was quite underweight by the time he was found. Both he and his brother were unfriendly at first, upon entering their foster home. The foster family has been working with Scamp and he is slowly coming along. Scamp has a lump on his chest as well, yet at this time it has been diagnosed as non cancerous.
We are hopeful that over time Scamp comes out of his shell more and more and will enjoy being in a safe and sound home! Scamp will remain with Blizzard for their lifetimes.
